Photographers can capture the moment with a lens, a curtain and a photographic plate. The lens focuses sharply on the subject, the curtain is pulled aside for a short time - 1 hundredth of a second or less - and the photographic plate absorbs the light. We have taken a picture.
As humans, we cannot do that. Everything we experience is delayed by about half a second, namely the time it takes for our mighty brain to understand what we see. And when, after a relatively long time, we have understood what we see, reality has has run away from us, with the now in its embrace.
